We had a silent auction and kinda last minute I decided to donate a free photo session, cd and 5 by 7 to the winning bidder. I frantically made a collage from (horrors!) Costco. (12 by 18 for 2.99) Super easy, just select photos and it arranged it for me. Well, their site right now is "new"and super buggy so it crashed on me like 5 times! What would you consider too large ISO? I have rebel so I can only choose 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600. I try to do 400 or less but sometimes have been using 800. You can't read the shutter speed if it is more than 3 digits and the viewfinder is missing the exposure reading (the white line that goes from -2 to +2) so I can't even tell if I'm exposing properly! I've had it for a couple weeks and need to send it back. Waaaa. Now I have to wait for them to process the return and send me another one. In the meantime, what do people love/dislike about ... I'm totally a photography newbie and planning to start to take photos as a hobby. I need nice camera. My price range is $400-700. Please feel free to suggest which one you think would be good, maybe one of the rebels (which one?) Should I get the best one I can get with my money or bit cheaper and an extra lens.
